Views are incredibly beautiful!

The apartment is quiet, has more than enough space, and is so close to surrounding area and the garden and local bus stop. This property has a great location close to the train station. It's nestled in nice building. Thanks Mathias for our very nice stay.

We absolutely loved our stay at this guest accommodation! The attention to detail in terms of cleanliness and practicality was superb. The spacious balcony provided a stunning view, and the large parking area was a bonus. The owner, Karsten, was incredibly kind and helpful. Perfect for families with kids as there is plenty of space for them to run around and enjoy the mountains.

We felt immediately at home and had no complaints whatsoever.

We had a wonderful stay at Gastehaus Buchenhof in UnterGrainau. the manager was incredibly friendly and helpful during our time there. the room was clean and spacious, with a comfortable bed and a well-equipped kitchenette. the location was perfect for exploring the beautiful Bavarian Alps, including the nearby Zugspritz, Germany's highest mountain. We also enjoyed visiting the charming villages in the area. it was a lovely apartment and a great choice for two people. We highly recommend it. Cons: Nothing, it is perfect! 👌.

I recently stayed at Gastehaus Buchenhof in Grainau for a few days and it was a fantastic experience. The location at the foot of the Bavarian Alps provided breathtaking views and easy access to hiking trails. The host was very friendly and accommodating, even providing a free local transport travel card and a bottle of fizz in the fridge. The apartment itself was comfortable and well-equipped, and the breakfast provided was delicious. I especially appreciated the free use of laundry facilities. I can recommend this hotel for a great stay.

Whether we preferred cycling, walking, hiking, or climbing, there was something for everyone. The kids especially loved the playground, and we enjoyed the breathtaking views of the Alps. Excursions were plentiful and suited to our family's interests.

My wife says that it would have been great to have more kid-friendly amenities at the playground.

We stayed at Buchenhof for one night and it was a fantastic experience. The room was clean and comfortable, and the kitchenette was a great bonus. The staff were friendly and professional, and the location was perfect for exploring the surrounding area. The free bus transportation with the Grainau pass was a wonderful perk. a homely and well-equipped hotel with plenty to do nearby.

I always choose this place for my stay. Staff is helpful & found me a place for food. It suits me perfectly & has Wi-Fi, free parking, kitchen, TV, laundry, ski storage. I will come back for holiday.

Spacious apartment with 3 beds in one room and a double Murphy bed in the living room. Great kitchen and large balcony with mountain view. Convenient location, 5-minute drive to train station for Zugspitze and 10-minute drive to Garmisch. Nice playground for kids.

I chose Gastehaus Buchenhof specifically to visit the Kramerspitz landmark, and I was not disappointed. The hotel's bicycles and small workshop for repairs were a pleasant surprise. The free WiFi and Grainau cycle path map also made my trips more enjoyable. the property offers packed lunches, which I appreciated.
